John+LegendGermany will once again experience the alluring R&B that is John Legend. This July, the King of Modern R&B will be stopping for live tours in Munich and Hamburg. He started going up with his career, first as a pianist for Lauryn Hill, and soon, song collaborations with the likes of Jay-Z and Alicia Keys. From working as a collaborator, his last album Wake Up! won a Grammy for Best R&B Album and peaked at number 6 in the Dutch Album Charts. He is now an authority in the R&B world with 9 Grammys to boot.

German entertainment lovers will surely have a fantastic time with so much in store for this year. The Berlin International Film Festival may already be over but more festivities are already gearing up, like the sporting event European Poker Tour Berlin, and also more musical extravaganzas like Rock am Ring and Rock im Park, as well as the Splash Music Festival to which John Legend will be headlining. As a tourist, Germany should be a European destination you can’t ignore this year. You can travel to the country in a number of ways. If you’re a poker aficionado, you can play the qualifier rounds over at sites like de.partypoker.com. Germany has been one of the European countries successful in using the online gaming boom in the mid 2000s as a stepping stone to creating legendary players like Marvin Rettenmaier who have just recently won in the World Poker Tour Baden. Germany is a feared strong competitor with titles ranging from the International Federation of Poker Nations Cup as well as the European Poker Tours. If poker competitions are something you want to leave to the professionals, you can choose a lesser adrenaline-pumping road by booking ticket reservations over at concert listing sites like SongKick.

John Legend will be part of the featured artists in the upcoming Splash Music Festival 2013. The music affair will be held in Gräfenhainichen, Ferropolis, Germany starting 12 up to 14 July. According to RingRocker.com, along with Legend, the artist line-up consists of “257ers, Action Bronson, Angel Haze, A Tribe Called Quest, Blumentopf, Casper, Chakuza, Chefket, Die Orsons, Dope D.O.D., Ferris MC & DJ Stylewarz, Iggy Azalea, Lance Butters, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Marteria, Megaloh, OK Kid, Rockstah, The Underachievers, and Thunderbird Gerard”.

This multi-award winning soulful “legend” will also be starting a worldwide tour with stops in Germany. He will first be at Große Freiheit 36, Hamburg on 21 July, and then in Kesselhaus, Munich on 23 July. He already has five album releases under his belt. His album Once Again reached the highest position in Dutch charts, grabbing the number 2 spot and then staying amongst the top 10 in a span of 22 weeks. His most popular songs Ordinary People and P.D.A. captured German audiences which secured his chart position in the top 20 singles chart of the country. He is currently on promotion with his latest song, Who Did That To You. This empowered track is part of the Oscar-nominated Quentin Tarantino movie, Django Unchained. The Deutschland is sure in for a poignant, sexy and enchanting live session with John Legend over at Ferropolis, Hamburg, and Munich.
